With the onset of Winter, plants have entered their truly dormant stage making this the ideal time to plant bare root hedging and trees. You can safely plant in cold conditions even with night frosts, providing the ground is not frozen solid during the day. Please note that we will be closed from Friday 22nd Dec until Tuesday 2nd January for the Christmas break.

We have had a very busy start to the bare root hedging season. All bare root plants are now available and we should be able to lift and despatch orders in around a week or less from the date you place your order. Hoping the weather continues to be reasonably mild for the remainder of November, but could do with a little rain here.

We'll be starting to despatch orders of bare root hedging from early November. It has been a good growing season for young hedging and tree whips, and conditions seem set for early leaf fall. If you require delivery in the first half of November, please order as soon as possible. Larger rootballed hedging will also be available from late October/early November.
